We appreciate the reply for sure, but please consider it for the future - as multipathing effect with most top tier radar missiles and especially the coming fox3’s is at highly unrealistic levels rn.
With the coming fox3 update, all nations will be functioning at almost complete parity radar missile wise for the first time in the game - therefore this would be the perfect time to change the multipathing mechanic to a more realistic implementation as none would be disproportionately affected. Currently all high rank air matches in WT are skewed by overblown multipathing into a laughably unrealistic portrayal of modern air to air combat - and this will only get more and more ridiculous each update with future vehicles.
Only some minor changes would be needed for smooth implementation of a realistic multipathing mechanic into the game. These being; lowering of player saturation in matches, and more effective/longer range sam’s added to each side deep in their rear lines - particularly around airfields. This would allow players the effective space to play in bvr centric environments, give them some limited friendly airspace to defend into if needed, increase usefulness of cas gameplay and also substantially limit potential for long-range airfield camping (and also finally limit ‘zomber’ gameplay in sim). Thus, these changes would ensure that realistic opportunities for counterplay are preserved and unbalanced matches are not too overbearing, while still retaining the same match dynamics as whoever pushes the enemy back can punish them with ticked bleed by hitting mid map objectives. And if implemented on an individual missile/radar set basis, would mean its effectively self-balancing with earlier equipment found at lower br’s having greater multipathing problems.
Stormer HVM max range is only 7km. It would outperform it quite a bit. and 8-10km is the average for most 11.7 SPAA at the moment. Having an actual SPAA, that only costs 70, for an 11.3 line-up. Especially if most of the current 11.7s move to 12.3 making 11.3 more viable. Would be awesome.

It’s more Gaijin giving the ADATS a TD SP cost. Half the time you don’t have the SP to spawn it in and end up with the stormer instead, the easy fix is just give it SPAA spawn costs so it doesn’t end up costing a stupid amount to spawn in. or you know, remove the whole SP cost inscreases per spawn, which SPAA are exempt from

Rapier would be a good thing yeah. Additionally, a mid-tier SPAA around 9.3-7 would be cool as well, some kind of vehicle-mounted javelins like wolverine.
if that thing was 11.3 it would be DOA, the radar is terrible and its missiles would be worse then any other 11.3, that thing is max 10.7 or again DOA, also the average for top tier 12km
I once got shot down, about 12km from the battlefield, in a gripen, pulling 12Gs in a Dogfight.
They can hit just fine in my experience. and when something like a Tornado can barely pull more than 6Gs I think at the moment. Not really a lot you can do against a Pantsir.

Yep, an IR/SACLOS SAM at that BR would be great fun. Needs to be tuned just right to still be viable as a supporting SPAA for 10.3. Stormers lack of ability to deal with certain threats is a pain in the butt
