No, Netherlands is still a nato country and is supposed to contribute 2% of their gdp. They only save resources on command structure and logistics, which they still need to spend elsewhere to get to the 2%

The point is just that the Dutch army is still their own and independent, but has a far greater deal of cooperation with the Germans than most other countries have among one another
Yeah i know, i meant it to supplement what you were saying. I know people are going to think it’s more of a big country absorbing the smaller country but it’s nothing like that.

the SU 27 already existed at that point and the export version was in development, they were aware of that and ordered it to receive is as quickly as possible
