I mean even if it is good, there’s one thing (well out of many) that’s probably worse than Russian “Technology” (imagine missing a converted Boeing 707 with two of your best missiles) it’s probably South African. Remember, they’ve been under sanctions regarding technology transfer and missiles for the best part of 50 years, if not more, and so they have completely made it themselves.
Chances are, it’s not going to be as good as something like, say, AMRAAM, where you’ve had what is effectively a consortium pool their brains and go “hey, all you engineers at GD, Raytheon, BAE, etc., all of you go design a really really lethal means of blowing up a plane at 40 miles away”

That’s because mavericks use TV/IR guidance while GBU’s are laser. If bombs used TV/IR aswell you would be able to use them freely.
Like said, leak list never show everything so for sure we are totally open to surprises.
Actually i would not like a leak list that show EVERYTHING an update gonna add, weeks earlier.

The T2020 Phantom retains sparrow/amraam capability though, so it is possible for us to get that one ( would love to see it as an event one)
Whether it can or can’t isn’t the issue, its a simple matter of adding a second F-15 because ARH would increase its BR, potentially by a lot if multipathing gets what it deserves.
That being said I do think the F-15 we have in-game was the version that tested AIM-120B so maybe they’d toss that on as a way to convince themselves to decompress the Gen3/4 area.
