I think it is because not only it is SPAA, so why not limit a APFSDS on it, if im correct it left a testing phase last year and we pretty much know nothing about the ammo…or pretty much it capabilities. Most of it is either made up or RU propaganda.
they had displayed the apdsfs round, so it is as theoretical as any other prototype in game, besides even if it was an spaag it doesnt necessary means that they will cap the amount of apdsfs, as the lvkv doesnt have it either,
Lvkv is CV9040 with just a Straped radar on the roof pretty much with. with the back crew compartment remade for the radar control to be put in. It isnt completly different vehicle
I honestly don’t understand why Gaijin couldn’t rework SB a bit, so similar planes are not presented on both sides. Though I rarely play SB and won’t insist, I’ve seen some people like it, at least in GRB, because you can do “sabotage”, which can be quite funny.
he’s very known for doing this kind of stuff says some kind of bs and then backs off when someone has sources or stuff like that, he is famous for all the wrong reasons lol
it is still clasified in game as spaag, besides most spaag that have a cap is due to being only storaged on a separate magazine(historically), in the case of the otomatic is due to the fact that it has a separate autoloading for the apds, but imo they should give it the ability to storage apds on the hull.
As far as I understand they mostly cap APFSDS belts, only if they find such information in the technical documentation about specific vehicle. Sidam-25 suffers from this a lot, because manual tells precisely about 600 HEI-T and 30 APDS (in the game it’s 60 though) belts, iirc it’s the only vehicle with fully HE stock belt, despite SAPHEI-T could be added at least, as you can see it in multiple brochures about SIDAM-25.
iirc the the bmps are also capped on a similar manner as the sidam, they normally used 1 belt for ap and another for he, so they gave it only 1 belt of apds
