I’m a top tier ground player so I’m mostly looking forward to top tier MBTs. If I had to name a single one it would be the SEPv3 because I love how it looks.

I don’t expect to see the SEPv3 in game anytime soon, but we still seem to be getting a pretty good update according to the leaks and roadmap.

Fake/paper vehicles added and a fair amount of trialed vehicles as opposed to having them removed and also having received better MBT support the past years than Germany? I think Japan quite better treated.

One was an ally of Japan during WW2. The other well, wasn’t exactly in a good place with Japan. And SK players themselves have more or less threatened Gaijin if they try that.

Most likely some sort of independent tree. Half-tree like Israel. With NK likely. But if it is a sub-tree anywhere it be the US tree but that’s unlike as the US doesn’t need or can get a sub-tree unless the rules/how it’s done changes.

I still find it amusing that the community is ok with Thailand as a subtree for Japan (despite being under technical occupation) rather than South Korea, but I guess no point on me dying on that hill now.

I think the difference is that Thailand, while under pressure, still decided to cooperate rather than just being occupied territory. They were also treated more like an ally as opposed to occupied Korea or the Manchurian puppet state, keeping control over their own military, even receiving equipment from Japan which they operated under Thai flag.
Then obviously there is modern relations, which are very good between Thailand and Japan, while Korea is a whole different story. So it is no surprise Thai players are generally happy, while Korean players would rather be upset.

Seems to be pointing towards a combined tree at some point. Maybe a US subtree, but we are very far from a point where that would be needed.

Half tree that need to reach some rank in another nation for access already start in the game with a big problem for hype and a wall for new players, really not a good idea to do more.

To be fair Japan didn’t order and just not get them, they bought them, but couldn’t get them shipped. So instead they rented them back to the Germans for use, technically still keeping them as their own. It wasn’t even just the Tiger, also a Panther D, Pz III J and N, Stug III F, Pz IV F2 and an SdKfz 232.

You should have seen the Canadian TT argument the other day.

Someone was saying Korea(and other half-trees) was one of the only nations with anything unique that could come(and the only unique stuff left in the world is modern). And only the “Majors built stuff(during WW2)” that all other nations just made variants of that stuff and all WW2 families are in-game all the other WW2 stuff is C&P. (yes France too they said didn’t build anything for WW2)

I don’t like them either. I’m a WW2 player for the most part. I care far more for the era stuff than “top-tier” so half-nations don’t sell me anything for this game.

I hope they add ww1 someday. Would be cool with smaller maps for ground and air. Problem is that some nations have nothing on these brs.
