Not really, cause F-18s wouldn’t have AMRAAMs this major update even if they were added.
The F-18Cs are more powerful than Gripen C and F-16C Blk 50, and the F-18A can come at any time.
I know I’d fly the F-18A far more than an R-77 equipped Mig-29SMT.

The AMRAAM cable F/A-18A+ exists.
That F-81A can come this update. we don’t need the F-18C for AMRAAM F-18.

My guy you do realize that would not be a great idea to do. Not to mention we aren’t fully ready for the F/A-18 just yet, maybe later this year in Dec perhaps. But now? Not really.
