If they gave it the 4 Kh-29TE’s, 4 R-73’s, etc, it’s capable of, sure. As it is now, giving it thermal is simply putting it on par with other nations.
I also don’t get how a high contrast imager can display so crappily in this game. In real life they are a lot easier to read.
And another problem, MIG-29SMT got KH-29TD, which should use television seeker with a thermal imaging channel, but now it only get tv seeker.

The alpha jet looks like a mosquito. I’m sure it will feel like one too when added to the game

Not quitely, it has weak engine, only about 0.56 thrust/weight, similar to 1 gen jet like mig-15.
I think it would be something like german saab 105

Only unguided bombs and rockets, not even sure about if it has a ballistic computer
seems German CAS would still suffer a long time.

well the AlphaJet role is already filled by the G.91R/3 and are you really looking forward to a currently Up to date interceptor and the very high BR it would recive for 4 Paveways?

Pretty sure the A model can get mavericks atleast. Also I know that some could mount Fox-2’s
the french could get one with Magics and AGMs but they aren’t really that much of a concern regarding CAS Abilities
This seems to be the French version, going off the language…
It’s hard to find, but in pretty sure the German A version was supposed to be compatible with mavericks
Also possible that the Thai version of the Alpha jet could carry mavericks, as late versions have a fully modernized cockpit and electronics
The mavericks are from the ICE upgrade which was not completed unfortunately
