LJDAMs came with the ASSTA3 variant, which is currently in service with for example the JaboG 33 of the Luftwaffe
The US tree has done plenty to fill gaps. If the Swiss tree is added, sure, put it in game but people just randomly putting US vehicles in trees that never used them is ridiculous.
only Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 33 uses Tornados iirc

it wouldn’t fill a gap in the US tree but it would fill incoming gaps in other trees very well while still leaving a reason to play the US tree as it doesn’t have half the capabilities of the Stock F/A-18

It doesn’t matter if it fills gaps. There has to be some basis for a vehicle being added. What basis is there for a Swiss F18 going to any tree other than the US or Switzerland?
The US tree has major gaps in its SPAA lineup. Can we just randomly decide we want an Ostwind because it fills a gap?
Hell, the same people that just randomly want to put US vehicles in whatever tree were vehement against the Skink also being added to the US tree, despite the Skink being developed from a US vehicle and having US made components.
If leaving gaps in the US SPAA line is acceptable, then leaving gaps in other lines is acceptable as well.
Considering it seems like its atleast lacking one of its cannons, they probably are
ok youre pissed of that the Canadian SPAA based on the Canadian Sherman deriviate went to the Brits which are still connected to Canada and actually had an SPAA Gap there and now nobody else can have export vehicles or what?

What’s the difference between the Skink not being added to the US tree and the F18 not being added to trees that never used the F18?
there was a better place for the Skink, and there is a better place for the Swiss F-18 which would add absolutely nothing to the US tree
