There’s no reason it would be a copy or weaker version than a Soviet one.
According to the number of Russian Flanker models, vehicles that can be copied and pasted are given priority.
You think≠gaijin think, copy and paste is different thing
Most nations haven’t even finished WW2 yet. Maybe we should get there first before doing another jump leaving trees even more incomplete.
Sweden would have a decent fleet up to CAs and China is a lot worse bluewater wise, but it has a full fledged coastal tree potential.
The bravy has proven the fact that missile ships will be balanced if placed at the right BR, at least on the topic of SAM-only ships. Chinese(and possibly Sweden and Israel) naval will only be possible with missiles and most likely a one that skips the lower rank. I am sure a lot of “wolf warriors” will spend money on the preorder and I got a budget for it already.
Most importantly, BIG-7+ ships are only owned by a handful, on the topic of 16inch+ ships, its only the US and Japan, with a handful of British paper designs. Rushing into the late stages of war will only make other nations less competitive. Even if we count paper designs such as Sovietsky Soyuz, France, Italy and Russia will eventually find themselves at a place where they are outgunned by 16-inchers.
And we know that despite many inaccuracies, warthunder did accuratly portray how extra tonnage, bigger guns and armor belts makes an automatic W just like the war does, that is until those big rockets come.
Well that’s not really true. Only France and Italy are lacking in that department, though their 15 inch guns might be good enough to keep them competitive. Otherwise Russia can get Sovetsky Soyuz and Germany can get H-39, both of which use guns larger than 15 inches.
yeah I see you editing your mistakes, stop it, its hard to respond to you
I don’t know about the latter. The more I think about missiles the more I’m convinced that most of them wont be enough to do serious damage to a late battleship without spamming them. I think most missile ships are going to end up at late cruiser/early BB tiers because the missiles will end up mediocre at best and the ships have little to no cannon weaponry. They’re just going to be the end of an already suffering type of ship.
In all fairness, I dont think the Sovietsky Soyuz will fare well in the game, considering it is a worse littorio without the pugleisei system but thats another topic since it isnt in the game yet. Sorry to keep editing I was cooking in the process and write the thoughts down as I go.
France can make do with the Alsace class but that is more WOWS material. Italy? Give the garibaldi a few polaris and arm them with a nuclear warhead, closest thing to a superbattleship.
Its more of warthunders mechanics, scouting isnt neccessary in naval since everyone can just see them, and a seperate spawn cant really justify bringing destroyers to the higher BRs. It is more down to the cores of how naval works.
It doesn’t matter if it’s C&P, what matters is that every relevant nation gets some sort of naval experience down the line.
Also C&P may be beneficial to Gaijin to limit development time, but frankly, with how matchmaking works in the game, all it does is help fill lineups, which keeps your teammates in the game longer, which leads to better matches and a better experience. At least for GRB.
Air RB having plenty of C&P, specifically with Chinese flankers, really should be such a big deal. The PRC purchased most of those planes, and the ones they liked, they produced domestically eventually. Even if the plane says Su-30MKK, instead of J-11B, it doesn’t change the fact that the majority of Su-30MKK’s in the Chinese arsenal are Irkutsk fuselage kits assembled in China, by Shenyang, with domestic parts and electronics. Complaints of more domestic designs and domestic names are all silly. Su-30MKK is a Chinese plane, full stop. Who cares if the Chinese Flankers look like Russian Flankers? Some will have AESA, all will probably have at least some Chinese domestic weaponry.
Also, aircraft carriers will be added to the game more than likely, and I believe they will make for the critical balance that 16"ers require.
Sovetsky has “thick” armor and big guns, I think she’ll fair better than something like North Carolina at least.
Alsace is tragically going to be a no-show because the French never finalized the design before a certain Austrian ended the program prematurely.
Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to play around with the Talos missile and others, but that is the crux of every argument I make against these ships/weapon systems. Right now the way the game works is likely going to make a lot of the stuff people ask for useless at best or miserable to play at worst. Sure like people say they can update it to be more compatible, but will they?
Aircraft carriers and submarines are the two biggest examples of this. Submarines just move way too slow and carriers are going to spawn inside the AA bubble of the enemy team. Missiles are the most likely to be decent but if they’re just modeled as big HE rockets, will they actually be any good?
I do think so, there is a new Japanese styled title datamined
I don’t think so if you mean the “Fūrinkazan”, that’s for the Japanese National Foundation Day.
oh… then i dont know…
You are the master in this subject XD
♥♥
Only one can hope and im really hoping honestly begging for it at this rate
Any new leaks?
Well… MKK is produced by KnAAPO at Komsomolsk-on-Amur, the same as Su-27SK and J-11A Flanker-B; while J-11A received slight domestic-Belarusian upgrades, MKK and MK2 are still Russian from any aspects. BTW, J-11A were the ones assembled in SAC with different level of domestic parts.
We just said “not soon” and this was back in November.
definitly not evil foreshadowing
Yeah, but we havent gotten any hints yet…
So then we have to speculate without having information.
So if you have a hint… we dont have to talk about the HU air force
wink wink
