Prove that any J-35D equipped countermeasures and make a bug report about it.

J-35D is not the J-35XS.
That’s like saying Mig-21Bis can fire R-60Ms with double mounts thus all Mig-21s can. You have to prove it.

I mean, i assume you mean something else here.
But production aircraft can get prototype equipment. Just see the Hunter F.6 getting SRAAM.
I mean its not to exactly out of the question that J-35D could get countermeasures, but im not sure if we want it to. Its not common for armament/equipment limitations to be present to adjust BR, or that some stuff is given when it could be fitted.
A J35J with CMs would make much more sense, especially since the tier 7 premium was originally planned to be that, so it was at least partially developed.
It has been stated the F-5C we have in game is one upgraded from an F-5A. Which is in line with the fact the F-5C were modified F-5A aircraft.
Yeah I have no intention of getting countermeasures for J 35D, it was just an example to point out the flaw in his reasoning

Yeah, they are modified from F-5A’s, but they werent modified with countermeasures.
The XF-2A did have them though, this is a non issue. While they weren’t always fitted the mounts are always there.
That is if the APG-68 was fitted. It is very likely this wasn’t done and it already mounted the J/APG-1, which has never been intended for the AMRAAM and needs J/ARG-1 transmitter for AAM-4.
While I’d absolutely like to see the XF-2A with AMRAAMs I doubt the capability to use them.
