Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Would be fun, but imo if they add this one, it’s going to be an event vehicle, because it’s too weird XD

One thing that just came to the mind is the HuAF subtree. Hungary has like 2 indeginous domestic designs and the rest are imports, what has gaijin preoccupied so badly that it is delayed for more than 2 updates?

A new nation?

Yes, I’m well away it’s our “crazy theory” but it’s the only thing I could think of that would need a lot of new models and in turn keep a large part working on it.

Tho anything we cook up here is a “crazy theory”.

I reckon it was the Gripen C.

Hungary does operate a Gripen C and that might make an ideal 12.7 non-ARH aircraft for Italy.

So by waiting till Sweden Gets the Gripen C, they can then add the full Hungarian Air Sub line, with the Gripen C at the very end as their new 12.7.

(I reckon they would have done that for Britain as well, but they simply couldnt wait for Britain)

The most “valuable” thing for the Italian TT from Hungary is 2A7HU obviously)
For Air I don’t believe they add HuAF line without Romania, it would be too much of C&P.

Right… Finland was mostly C&P and still is.

I can see it coming without Romania.

The Finnish air sub tree has literally nothing Finnish in it (same with the ground one on release), so why do you think they would shy from the worst possible option?

I hope for a bit of sanity)

Didn’t ground get the BT-42 when it came?

I’d call that Finnish at least.

Well air TT also has some planes unique to the game, like Fokker and B-239 (not sure about that one) + few Swedish planes.

Fokker is a Dutch plane at the end of the day. It is one of many cases where the maker nation is missing a version with it as an operator (if they also used it)

and from what I could find B-239 is F2A Buffalo and American plane.

So at the end of the day, neither of them are “Finnish”.

That’s not in the Finnish ground line.

It’s in the Finnish sub-tree.

mmm… i dont think that is a good idea putting the hungarian Gripen C without fox-3s there is a plenty of pictures and videos that shows the hungarian Gripen C with AIM-9Ms and AIM-120s and this would give to italy a really capable fighter with FOX-3s until the Typhoon.

It would, but it would also act as a good stop-gap until ARH becomes available (and its entirely possible that Sweden Gripen C will be added in March with AMRAAM, not a lot of other differences between the Gripen A they already have and the Gripen C)

If that is the case, then Maybe Hungarian Gripen C with AMRAAM in March.

it doesnt make anysense to add it now as a stop gap knowing that we might see the FOX-3s coming in march soo… there is no point now to add the hungarian gripen c without fox-3s.

I know, that’s why I think we might see it in March, with ARH. (or if ARH Is coming in June, then without as a 12.7 that they desperately need)

Italy mounted AMRAAMs on its F-16s, so a Hungarian Gripen is unnecessary. In fact, there is nothing that meaningful that Hungary can add that Italy can’t already get or has already gotten.
