again, look at stinger history, there were many stingers without proxy, remember as well manpads are way smaller then missles

Another way to buff URSS CAS is giving the Mi-28NM access to 4 LMUR 305.
Blowpipe was a British MANPAD serving from 1975 to 1985 that didnt have a prox fuse. I think this was a combination of cost saving and to reduce the number of parts within the missile.
Pretty sure they are listed in one of the books about soviet/russian air to ground missiles.

Why? We already have F&F in-game, i don’t see how 4 of those could be broken without NLOS capabilities.
Blowpipe did have a proxy fuse though I thought? It didnt have SACLOS controls to save costs (turned out the missile cost way more lol), it was MCLOS controlled.
Like you could select contact fuse, but did have proxy still afaik.
