for example, there was no update made on Sunday ever, so why think that next update will be on Sunday?

unless they’re not doing the full month long devblog period, i doubt we’ll see the patch until mid- end of march at this point.

While I’d like to see teaser + dev stream so I can know most content that’s coming already in a quick content dump, I think it’s Gaijin’s best interest to pad it out and generate hype over time.

Well to begin with, it literally has the autoloader upgrade to fit such shells, which is the key point of firing 3BM60, upgraded gun is simply for accuracy, second of it has Plisa sight with thermals which has 2nd generation french thermal matrixes.
Third of all it solves issue of terrible horizontal targetting speed by getting 2E42M, which sure keeps bad vertical targetting speed, but it gets 40° horizontal targetting speed.
Also while 2E58 can allow for targetting speed to be 40° in horizontal or vertical, Sosna-U and PNM-T put a limitation of only 5° at second, which has been reported and aknowledged.
Basically means latest T-series will have vertical targetting speed cut from 40° to 5°.
In other words T-80UE-1 literally solves key issues T-80U had in 2005, keeping up with the standart of T-90A, and in some points being better than it.
This tank has been produced in said configuration and there is around 30 of them serving in 4TH Guards tank division.
Also any T serie past T-64A can shoot 3BM46, but only ones with autoloader upgrade can fit and reload 3BM59 & 60, otherwise you have to load these manually.

Thats what i’ve been advocating for a while.
Since a teaser before the dev-blogs gives us the oppertunity to discuss to what probably gets added upcoming update.
I don’t disagree. When we got the teaser + dev stream 1 day earlier than usual for last update (Wednesday instead of the usual Thursday), that was a good surprise and definitely got me hyped.

Unless they are going to use this new year and the roadmap as an excuse to change a few things up
Merkava Mk.4B, Merkava Mk.4 LIC, Ariete, Ariete AMV, Challenger 2, Challenger 2(2F), Challenger 2 TES, Challenger 2 OES and to a lesser extend the Leopard 2PL are all 11.3 and are all considerably worse than the T-80U/UK and M1A1 HC/AIM/Click-bait.
And again, this is pretty close to a lot of other already 11.7 tanks in terms of firepower while also beating them in a lot of other aspects.
I would rate a T-80U with 3BM60 and better gun handling above tanks like the Ariete AMV, VT-4A1, Merkava Mk.4M, Leclerc S1, Leclerc S2, Challenger 2 BN and Challenger 2E that are all 11.7.
