Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

It’s not like Germany lacks WW2 Jet prototypes to be added… I genuinely just pray it comes with the gun pod.

This doesn’t change anything really for the Revenge Class, as the Arkhangelsk / Royal Sovereign wasn’t the only Revenge Class anyway and other ships of the class remain possible too. As we already mentioned, Britain has had other ships planned.

And with that event announcement, there is no reason to care about the year decals, as the next one will be all unobtainium vehicles following Gaijin’s patterns.

Removing the rule of adding a ship under one name/configuration is a good move, and I look forward to seeing other ships harmed by it added.

if the inf packs are low enough I will sell my R400 and CRV

Cat, the cat is the leaker

I see the Russians still want to hold onto the RS as much as possible, forgive me here but saying “We have other plans” there for you can’t have this is a bit rich ngl. Like we all know gaijin has plans that is just part of the games life but wanting Russia to keep one ship and baring the nation that built the thing is getting a bit petty now.

Take: The old rule was better and to this day any foreign service ship could have been moved in some form to another tree.

For example Artevelde should have been in the Belgian tree because why did we endure so much unnecessary copy paste in the name of sub trees.

Jean Bart is a premium instead of Normandie class > backlash > devs hesitate to give Littorio class premium > looks at Novorossiysk

That honestly sucks as duke of york wont add much, would honestly prefer a R class like HMS Royal Oak

Developer comment: The arrival of the Giulio Cesare (already present in the game as the Novorossiysk in the USSR tech tree) marks a shift in our approach to adding new ships. Previously, our policy was to include each ship in only one specific configuration; if a vessel had undergone multiple refits, only one version would make it into the game. Since this rule sometimes prevented the inclusion of highly interesting configurations, we decided to revise our approach. Until now, Italy was the only nation in the game without a top-tier premium ship, and the Giulio Cesare, in its original Italian configuration, is the perfect fit for this role.

Since the rule of no Dublicate hulls is now gone, when can we exspect a Historical Gneisenau with 3x3 280mm?

Britain has more Battleships than most nations in game already and has no shortage of more possible to add in the future.

This major update is no exception to that.

Its a little strange you haven’t had much of an intrest in naval before other than now wanting it simply because its in the Russian tree.

Could we see a coastal only mode eventually?

The rule change doesnt mean every single possible ship is going to be retrospectively added in a single update. It means more things are possible in the future now.

No plans for this currently to speak of.

As someone who has had a naval interest my entire life and the grand fleet in particular ive been trying to get a full lineup of the classes that took part in that battle, a revenge is one of the final ships missing, yet if i want one i have to play a nation that didnt even use it and treated it so poorly the turrets literally rusted in place from lack of use
