This is the perfect sort of vehicles to be an event.
Equally when we add similar variant vehicles as events, someone else would complain its “boring” and not worth doing. The US tree has plenty of F-16s avaliable currently. So this one makes a logical event vehicle given its history.
Definitely looking forward to try this one in duels.

Nice! NASA scheme looks great but very much hoping there will also be a Heater-Ferris camo that can be unlocked through kills/GE.
IIRC only the twin-seater flew with that camo during testing, but 75-0749 is also painted that way now it’s retired to the Air Force Flight Test Museum.
Obligatory rant, if this thing is getting AIM-120s, many people including me will continue asking AIM-120s for F-14D a bit louder.

Since XL-1 is coming with it’s planned equipment of AIM-120 is it safe to assume it’s getting the rest of it’s planned equipment too? Most notably some countermeasures since they were removed from the aircraft and were planned to be reinstalled into the centre wing fairings if it was to enter production.

With the F-16XL event now coming, US is getting close to having as much F-16s as the French, so is there any way that France can get another F-16 this patch so we can make sure it remains as the tree with the most F-16s?
From what I remember, the F-16XL never got upgraded avionics, so it can’t really launch the AIM-120, even though in the game Gaijin doesn’t seem to care about that.
If it does come, me want it foldered with ADF in TT eventually
