Tbf I personally support a LATM tree over Italy getting a tree they literally have no need of. As for being vocal it doesn’t make it any less annoying. Regardless Sweden air basically gets nothing or actively held back and rarely do we get stuff we need.
I mean did we forget gaijin wanted to add a flareless JA37A at 11.0? Or the inferior Gripen at the same BR as the C and then proceeded to admit the devs don’t want to correct them because they prefer their fake version over historical ones as to not leave out a certain nation (ZA).
Think my biggest Gripe with Italy wanting the Gripen is the same deal I have with non active “swedish” players screaming we need a new leopard, 1 who the hell even are you, you’ve never been an active member so why do you call yourself a main, and 2 do you have a skill issue? We don’t need Leo 2A8 right now the tree has more pressing matters like a lack of viable air at nearly every BR or artificially held back aircraft or SPAA
Not when it was first introduced, it was also 3.7. It was the only truely uniquely Israeli plane when it was added, which is why it was added, not because the tree needed it for any specific reason other than uniqueness. It’s a different case in that regard. I’d expect them to pick another Greek spit instead of anything. A tank 4 Helldiver would be hilarious though, but again I really find it highly unlikely for them to prioritize an aircraft like that when it really isn’t needed. We’ll see soon
With gaijin I learned to assume the worst possible scenario, as the one with the greatest chance of being the real one. I recommend you do the same.
They will fill the Israeli TT with copy paste: Osa and Tor spaa, two Leopard 2A4 models (one TT and one premium), and a Leopard 2A6HEL to crown the subTT. There might be a modified 1A5 and a Marder. Greece was the worst choice. They really hate the Israeli TT.
it diversifies the gameplay of the israeli air tree, which seems people are forgetting its one of the reasons gaijin gave when first mentioning of greece being added.

It was one of the best, from a gameplay perspective.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Greece was one of, if not the only Subtree options that gives Israeli Air the ability to sustain a full Rank I, which is extremely important for the tree in the long term. On top of this, it has solutions to nearly every problem the tree faces (SPAA, top Tier SPAA, early ranks being lacking, and many other gaps and lacking of certain vehicle types).
I understand Greece doesn’t have the most unique vehicles (especially aircraft), nor do they have the best historical ties compared to other nations like Chile, however they are still the best pick from a game makers perspective, where focusing on a nation playability is the best choice at the end of the day.
It bothers me that everything is resolved with Osa tanks and Leopard 2A4s. Israel deserves better after so many years of neglect. I mean, I’m not worried about Rank I, when I’ve played with the Chaparral between 9.3 and 12.7 for years… and they never cared.
I mean, mass produced and exported tank is shockingly used by many countries because it was mass produced and exported and additionally holds a fairly solid balance in game and is looked at as a solution to fix problems with trees.
