I just hate how Sweden is a better Germany than Germany, but if they added Strv 123A, nothing would stop me from hoing for it xD
I just think Sweden is the LAST nation to need a new MBT, but knowing Gaijin… xD (they gave Sweden their 3rd uparmored Leopard as Germany got their 1st one lol)

Would it be possible to see an upgraded variant of the F-16XL in the future? Like with its proposed weaponry and upgrades as a separate vehicle (say as a squadron vehicle)?
Example upgrades:
- 8x AMRAAM capabilities with wingtip + underwing pylons
- LANTIRN pod integration with Paveways
- GE-100/129 engines
- ARM integration
- Later AGM-65 variants like the D/G

I think some of those might be a bit to far so maybe would be best for it to stick to what was on paper for it like the cockpit, LANTIRN pods, and maybe Paveways and HMD since we have some understanding of those planned or tested features.
It would have to be XL-2 though for it to get the GE-100 engine since XL-1 was never planned to have a new engine.

- APG-83
- JHMCS II
- DSI intake
- GE-132 with TVC nozzle
- triple amraam and maverick racks on all pylons
- smart munitions like GBU53 etc
- built in IRST and lantirn
- BOL pods
- CFTs
- canards

I mean anyone who considers Sweden SPAA OP is insane.
Elde and NOMADS have numerous problems left unfixed and are essentially like coughing babies versus hydrogen bombs next to any CAS jet

ELDE still makes me so so sad. It has so much potential but instead of fixing it they just put another basically identically capable system at the same br ;-;
thats not mentioning the many other domestic swedish systems they could have put in as br gap fillers.
ASRAD-R is my beloved tho, it is great at its br
especially when i get side on and pop the turret of a t-80 or t-72 with the tiny heat warhead
