The floating Spitfire is a cool little thing, even if it is (yet) another event… But I’m hopeful. Maybe we’ll eventually get the Dewoitine HD 780 Floatplane ! With 200% more inverted gullwings !

I am extremely stupid when it comes to these event things. Does this mean I have to play about 20-25 games if I average out 1,200-1,500 a mission?

The AIM-120C-8 is far from identical to the AIM-120D.
According to the DoD, when exporting 120C-8s and 120Ds:
In other words, the 120C-8 LACKS:
- 2-way DL
- GNSS
- the removed HOBS limit
- enhanced A-to-M position handoff

Most likely less depending on Game Mode and Rank of the vehicles you play.
I think you have a 1x multiplier if you play Arcade at rank 5, ranks below that you get slightly less score and ranks above you get slightly more. Realistic mode gives a higher multiplier and Simulation gives even higher multiplier. Not sure about the exact numbers though.

I found an image online that shows the multipliers from the November event for Air:
This doesn’t mean that those numbers are still the exact same though but it at least gives you an idea of around about where the multipliers have been previously :)
The AIM-120C-8 does benefit from F3R, which gives it a more optimized autopilot. But afaik that’s its only major difference from the AIM-120C-7.
It’s also worth noting the AIM-120D doesn’t have F3R, but the AIM-120D-3 does AND it gets an even larger booster.

Well the Arjun is still an option for this update. Since it was teased in the 2026 decal and we have now seen the first vehicle of that decal also for this update.
