a Brake failure is enough to make a Landing very risky so chutes and Hooks are common on Modern Jets
the Eurofighter has both for emergency landings
Getting jets that rely on ECM so they suck and the J-15T which can’t use catobar even though that’s the main feature over the J-15… the PL-12A btw seems much better than the PL-12 which will copefully be saved soon

And yet if I can choose to not have it in a game I will, its simply gaijins track record that makes me not want it alongside Sweden getting inferior jets added nearly every update that makes me more cautious.
Next you’re gonna tell me the 400kg reduced weight of the F-18C makes it good at 14.0 without the HMS or the better missiles, or the better RWR and the slower stock grind…

I know the F-18C suffers from Nordics taxes, it was the First F-18 I’ve flown in this game
And again might I remind you that when we get a vehicle it’s gimped. Gaijin doesn’t have a good track record for niche mechanics and stealth is one of them, I don’t want the extra paper weight because it’s too high a chance gaijin makes it reduce your stealth all because someone wants to RP landing safely.
I don’t want something that will likely get borked. Either add it as a modification for the people who want it or don’t add it at all.
Tbf F-18C is 3rd place for KD among all the top tier hornets at 14.0

One of the reasons KD can’t be used to determine plane value, all the fox3 hornets are pretty hopeless, don’t have speed, acceleration, energy retention… Multipath is the only option.
Wasn’t even talking about value since is literally is just the worst hornet of the 14.0 but because it’s the worst only the skilled players will go through the hell of playing it consistently enough to spade it.

just a tiny correction, it’s not truly a mistake, but rather it’s a question that doesn’t have a definitive answer + gaijin cannot tolerate a T-series better then russian ones (talking of the UFP thing), same garbage will happen with PT-91M because it has sadly the same identical problem, just a boogaloo waiting to unfold
the superhornet isnt completely hopeless but its still pretty hopeless, not to mention next update the F15E will be americas main cas jet again
