This is a sore point for me, they had a great S1 shell, then the BUK, why do they need another CM shell?

AIM-7P gets data link so it can relock if you notch it and you can loft it plus a very heavily upgraded radar that has similar if not better performance than F15Es APG-70 that it shares parts with
and you get AIM-9M
