Why the new tank goes to Israel when the Eitan and Namer’s exist?

Singaporean vehicles will be distributed to whichever trees are most applicable to each vehicle.

Dev Note: As mentioned last year in a Community Update news, Singapore’s ground vehicles will be distributed among various in-game nations, taking into account the characteristics and needs of both the vehicle itself and the nations where it might be added. These characteristics could be technical or gameplay related. For example, the Hunter AFV’s weapon module is Israeli-made, and Israel has virtually no variety of light support combat vehicles in War Thunder. Therefore, we believe the Hunter AFV will be a welcome addition to current and future vehicle lineups for Israel.

@Smin1080p_WT I know the devs have said this, but I really do think it makes more sense to add Singapore to Israel as a subtree entirely. Here are the examples:

  • Leopard 2SG uses Israeli made CITV that we licensed for use
  • AMX-13 SM-1 uses SPIDER APFSDS which was designed in part with Israel as well
  • F-16C/D are now flying with Python 5 missiles, Israeli made, and it also makes more sense to give Israel an AESA capable jet even without the Python 5
  • SPYDER (TELS/TADS) also used by Singapore

So I really do think that the devs should at least take all these into consideration again, since the Hunter AFV is now going to Israel.

If your read the quoted post, it explains why:

“For example, the Hunter AFV’s weapon module is Israeli-made, and Israel has virtually no variety of light support combat vehicles in War Thunder. Therefore, we believe the Hunter AFV will be a welcome addition to current and future vehicle lineups for Israel.”

But Namer, the other namer and Eitan are not the exact same thing ?

At the moment, we already have plans and considerations for a sub tree for Israel. Of course its entirely possible they may receive other Singaporean vehicles if they are relevant, but currently there are no plans for them to be a dedicated sub tree for just Israel.
