Spice-250 have a giant massive issue of needing to be below Mach 1 to fire. Its a pain in the butt for aircraft that supercruises easily. You spend more time fighting to get it below mach 1 and staying below mach 1 than you do to actually use said weapon. In Air modes, its complete and utterly worthless addition and if I want to do any multi-roling I just run PW4s because they have a mach 1.5 release limit.
FnF Brimstones, being powered, would mean that they could be fired from a higher speed, making them far far more usable in an aircraft that does like slowing down.
bread
luckily I’ve prepared and subscribed to the warthunder channel when it goes live their shall be all the bread spaming
still have this channel from last time lol
yeah, but Gaijin doesnt consider the Typhoon weak in any regard. Its why they wont fix ANY bug reports for it, even giving it the correct gunbelts for the 27mm Mauser that are already modeled for the Gripens.
So its unlikely to ever happen.
But whether we had 8 or 16 Spice-250s, I still wouldnt see a reason to take them into ARB or ASB. Slamming the breaks fully on and slowing down is the worst possible thing to ever do in a Typhoon, especially with its currently terrible post supersonic acceleration
