It will make CAS even more cancerous and offer even less counterplay for tanks than there already is lol. There is no way this will make top tier better for tank players.

the silver lining is that its only on the last fired munition, so it’ll either be the spam we can already do + the last weapon can switch targets, or you fire one at a time which at high/top tier is basically a guaranteed intercept

Maintaining line of sight with a FnF munition means the aircraft will be much easier to shoot down. This allows MORE counterplay

there’s no way a 2012 missile with Datalink that ticks all boxes for the MITL mode won’t get it
it might give the SM-SV a slightly harder time (probably not) so i dont mind

i’ve not really had much of an issue with Spice-250 killing, but the mach 1 release limit (which the GBU-53 will probably have) just makes them worthless to really ever use

In theory on some maps you could launch on friendly/dead tanks from behind cover where the Pantsir does not see you (maybe not even the missile) and then redirect it toward the SAM, potentially curving it around buildings and sich
