to be fair i’d look forward to a MiG-31 more, R-33 and R-37 are massive missiles, while strapped to one hell of a radar while being very quick (and with a gun)
Not quite sure how good MiG-31s turning performance should be, but hopefully better than the MiG-25 (which is already okay at lower speeds, though it is useless elsewhere), might allow for that GSh-6-23 to do work

there’s a Reason why other Post war planes like it, be it the Wyvern or Strikemaster, are all at such low BRs

Again, it all depends on the airframe, afaik no prop in game has AIM-9B. That missile’s performance depends a whole lot on speed and altitude at launch. Props are also much harder to lock, especially for a seeker that struggles to lock cold targets. We’d honestly have to see
Strikemaster is an example of an Aircraft that Historically had missiles but didn’t get them so it could be at a BR where it’s actually usable
the Super Tucano will be the same
