I think that’ll be one of the ‘big things’ for the update so I wouldn’t expect to see that until the trailer or after.

The point was not missed at all. Some people prefer ground to air, air to ground, naval to air and so on and so on. Thats a perfectly fine opinion to have. Just as their are single nation mains who dont care about the 9 other nations in game except their 1.
However plenty of people have naval as their main or only mode even. Entire squadrons exist just for that. Because you may not personally know someone that mains a mode, doesnt mean thats a solid representation of the entire playerbase.
At the same time, when we post a modern vehicle or a higher BR vehicle, we get plenty of comments about “what about lower tier vehicles?”
There are two sides to every coin im afraid.
There are arguably plenty of vehicles that are extremely easy to skip over and not play. That would be even more of a reason then to showcase those vehicles for everyone to see, particularly those people who are interested so they can take a deeper look and play with the vehicle when it comes.
