To be honest f15EX wont be any good than the f15E with the max payload, it would be closer to a f15A in performance
You can test it yourself in game, its more obvious on less powerful radars and you’ll mostly see it on drones (?)
F-15EX would likely be 14.7 if not 15.0, and at that bro it isn’t really gonna be that great in my opinion

14.7 def not 15 unless decompression happens, that would be hilarious.
it just needs to be better by a decent margin than what we have and it is for the US tree, the US tree is very playable still it just suffers being slightly underwhelming where it should be at an advantage BVR and it gets that advantage with the EX’s acceleration and radar.
The Typhoon F2 didnt even enter service with Aim-9Ms, given ASRAAM entered service 5 years before the F2 did, and you really feel it, the airframe was just never designed with the Aim-9 in mind with how it plays.
Yeah, agreed, plus it gives a bit of a reason for the M-Scan ones to even really exist, they are so close together in BR that there is just no reason to ever go back and play it.
I cant think of any reason why the AESA Typhoons shouldnt get ASRAAM/IRIS-T and Meteor when possible (with imo, Meteor being added at the same time as Gen 5s as a counter for that advantage)
but the question does become other upgrades, whether they should be held in reserve to buff the AESA Typhoon if/when needed or we’ll just get a T5 Typhoon with all the upgrades that make up P4E, such as AMK

I personally just dont use top tier SAMs honestly, I’ve found way more success using Type 87 / RCV (P) (or just good terrain)
