That’s only really a proposal. All foreign sales of most Israeli weapons are halted from Oct. 2023 onwards, Merkava included. And it seems that Cyprus is either going to get M1 Abrams or Leclerc MBT’s any way

The Philippines was the only real exception since it was A: exclusively the bridgelaying version and B: they got it before 2023
The Merkava and other vehicles on the same chassis (Namer) didn’t get any contracts with any other countries. Azerbaijan, Colombia and even the US being the closest and even then they all failed to get any contracts with any of them
i know that they sold some in 2014 and still no one ones who got them, pretty impressive if you thing that they keeping it a secret for 12 years (it is Morocco isnt it?)
