Yeah it seems like it might be accurate after all. But who knows?
I get that the modern stuff has no armor and would get shredded if hit…but I don’t see how any of the Battle ships could sustain multiple multiple top down direct hits from ASM with 500lb of HE per missile that WON’T miss because thay have no ciws to stop them…honestly that’s what I think is holding them back. It would be like taking a Raf or SM2 into Korea era jets 🫤 also if the Naval maps where endering confrontation size the Battle ships would get smoked hands down! Even on the normal BR maps with lighter stuff you can maneuver to not get hit if you’re in something lighter…and if you have guided missiles you don’t got to try to aim.
The sad thing is we’re still in spring 🫠

Have you bombed a top BB with a 250 kg TNTe bomb recently? They can take a surprisingly high amount of them.
You’re not trying to mission kill here but outright sink.
Just a reminder a 1000kg TNTe warhead has “only” 151 mm pf pen. I’m not in game to check right now but you could probably find the armour pen of a german 500 kg HE bomb to get the pen for a 250 kg warhead
I would be more than willing to be the target dummy to see how many of those bombs a battleship could take on its deck, but at a later time.

I only know there isn’t one today as Smin said so earlier, but imagine with it being Dev blog season it’s a high chance.
Nah, they didnt want to post a TT devblog, so we get a premium pack blog tomorrow. 🙃🫣
