( official ) News from WT Mobile:
The battleship Kilkis is being added, the first Greek ship to appear
CIWS systems will become available in the next update, and new researchable ships will be added to multiple nations as part of the Rank rebalancing to come w/ that.
As you should be aware from my posts over the last few years, Mobile has a number of missile-equipped ships which have CIWS turrets, which are currently hidden and unusable.
The functionality to support them was added to the files recently, and according to the devblog, battleships and battlecruisers at high enough BR 's to meet AShM ships in matchmaking will also have access to that functionality.
Some of the new ships are directly named, and some are not. Images of them have not been provided in the devblog, so I’ll add them myself:
K130 Braunschweig class, which will use the Swedish RBS 15 Mk.3 missile system
Pr.1134 Berkut-B anti-submarine cruiser, featuring the M-11 Shtorm antiaircraft missile complex
Kongo class destroyer JS Chokai, which has the AEGIS integrated naval weapon control system
and the Type 31 Inspiration-class, an incomplete ship which is currently planned(subject to change) to appear in the game in a speculative/projected form using the MK 41 VLS
None of these ships would use the 3M89 Palash CIWS which recently appeared in the files, so that remains a mystery.
They mention that there will be new missiles appearing in the game in the next updates, but it isn’t completely clear whether that refers to new missiles which have not yet been seen, or is abt the RBS 15 Mk.3 and M-11 Shtorm mentioned above.
More concrete is the statement that following this update, in the next ~six month period a single new researchable top Rank missile ship will be added to each nation, probably in addition to the two which are traditionally added available for blueprints(daily SL gambling box / monthly battlepass season gambling box reward). It seems likely, but is not confirmed, that the USA might be the first to receive a researchable in this manner, since they are appearently not getting one in the upcoming update.
Also, Coastal fleet has now been officially denied.
