I’m seing complaints in the in-game chat about that as well, i’ve pinged the Community Managers about it.

I did mess it up with the rocket motor, but the ASRAAM being better than the AIM-120 within 40km just doesn’t add up, i know the official speed is Mach 3 but I’ve heard it’s actually higher but even then it just doesn’t have the inertia of the AIM-120
I mean again going off of the sky sabre CAMM can easily get to targets 20km away I dont see how ASRAAM couldn’t get to targets 30-40km away when its air launched and at mach 1
Mine as well, and battle result didnt registered in notification, and worse my daily task killing enemy players didnt progress.
Thank you necromancer, im unable to enter a match without dying leaving and getting crew locked (its fustrating me and making me play worse so someone update me later potentially)

40km distance, 10km altitude, 1200km/h launch speed
ASRAAM mach 2.11; MICA mach 2.00; 120C-5 mach 2.44; 120B mach 2.31
So, at range 120s will have more momentum, but ASRAAM will be much faster in shorter ranges
theres a little catch tho, i used CAMM’s data, but ASRAAM should have a little higher drag coefficient than CAMM due to seeker dome

Would the increased drag not make the ASRAAM significantly worse at low altitudes with thicker air?
Also can you do the test again but for 20 and 15km?
They will show J-22 and F-14D only to get shouted on the very next day

20km dist; 3km altitude; changing ASRAAM drag from 1,15 (CAMM) to 1,25
ASRAAM still beat all of them, but i wont post the image since the mod asked to change topics

My theory is, it’s much easier to take the 15E model put the new guts in it then do adjustments to the 3D model latter. The image we are looking at…my guess is the early makings of the EX, the reskinning may already be done for the Dev Server by now.
