That’s only rafale though, other rplanes like su-30sm2 have little trouble
but remember thats the f117, the oldest stealth jet
id say the minimum that the sm2 will lock an f22 is probably like 10km, with hmd. maybe 40km with tws
Could also suffer from bad compression, it’s heavy asf.
if they dont gimp its stealth then i think itll be a very strong jet ingame
You really shouldn’t comment on this topic when all information about 5th gen stealth is heavily classified. Nothing is really known about the F-22’s stealth, its all just guesstimates.
the su30 is even heavier and doesnt compress too bad from all the time ive flown it
im just basing it off what we have ingame and what we know, the f117s stealth is pretty strong currently, and we know the f22s rcs is much smaller than the 117, you can only assume itll be better ingame than the 117 by a good margin
Don’t see the logic behind thinking that heavier plane = more compression? F-16 is a very light fighter and compresses like a brick at high speeds.
good point
Y’all are just gonna complain about having too few missiles lmao
Pretty much because the Flankers overperform at high speed
nah im completely fine with 8 missiles if the stealth is modeled well
There’s also the fact that current stealth modeling is EXTREMELY basic and unfinished in the game.
i know it can even take 4 missiles on the wings but idc too much about that
yea which is why i expect something big to change by the time the f22 and f35 come
F-22A can carry 10 AIM-120’s (6 internal 4 external) with 2 9M/X. That’s enough IMO
The external ones should wreck the stealth, if Gaijin is actually gonna put any effort into modeling stealth properly
yea thatll be the tradeoff, get more missiles but youll have worse stealth
Unless ARB changes from 16v16 and small maps, stealth will have like no meaning. I’d personally much rather have the extra 4 missiles and be more effective in the match to help my team win.
