This is honestly the biggest deterrent for making suggestions. You can spend months (or years) making a suggestion. Then your suggestion can take months (or years) to get accepted. Then it can take months (or more likely, years) for your addition to actually get added to the game. Then it can take months (or years) for you to report every bug/missing feature that will inevitably end up affecting the vehicle (because Gaijin quality control is…interesting), despite providing specifications for the vehicle, and sources to confirm these specifications, which should have already been approved of during the process of accepting the suggestion.
So there is a bit of a backlog then. Ive got 2 pending suggestions from beginning of Jan
I miss living in Portsmouth, use to work right by the water front and once had to go tell the Patrons sat in the Beer Garden of the pub I worked at that that they were in the Splash zone when HMS Queen Elizabeth went past because we had a perticuarly high tide that day and the wake would splash over the low wall as she passed :D
I have suggestions from 2023 still not yet forwarded to the devs. Very annoying. That really puts me off putting in any effort to make suggestions.
For me it’s more that I need to got to the British Library for a book that hasn’t been digitised but that’s a couple of days trip and working Nights atm I cba lmao

At least for getting it out there, it used to take 2 weeks for a pending one to be aproved of when I started, and I’m hoping the suggestion team wants to get back to that timeframe.

I think the WM-23 is more likely than you give it credit for, they did say there will be “more interesting domestic Hungarian aircraft to look out for very soon”, and with the RMI series denied, the WM-23 is realistically the only substantially “more interesting” aircraft than the Héja II, and it certainly fits the “more domestic Hungarian aircraft” part of it as well. Your main issue with the WM-23 seems to be the fact the prototype didn’t have the guns mounted, but that’s not actually a problem, because as Deathmisser points out, it’s in the same exact situation as the Fokker D.XXIII (also notice how that’s also a D.23 like the WM-23, also made by a minor nation, very similar situation, and the Hungarians designed the RMI-8 in the same configuration as the D.XXIII).
Planes like the Fokker D.XXIII, XP-50, Kikka, J7W1, Yak 141, XF5U and maybe the Swift F7, SO8000 Narval, VL Pyörremyrsky, and many other prototype aircraft that didn’t receive their guns in real life made their way into WT nonetheless, as both premiums and researchables, so this isn’t/has never been an obstacle, all that matters is the aircraft being complete and preferably having flown. The poor photos shouldn’t be a problem either, since we also have blueprints and drawings to back them up with, and we know how the WM-23 looked well enough to model it accurately in WT, so again, this shouldn’t be an issue. I see no reason why the WM-23 can’t be added, and so am hoping for it to come this update.
