Indeed it didnt. Because Naval has different requirements (being that a ship simply be laid down or construction started). As we have said many times and has always been the case.
Primarily becuase people dont make “prototypes” of battleships and other bluewater vessels.
Aircraft have different requirements. So its not clear what your point is here.
Hes always a bit aggressive in that matter, but the “blabla hidden by community flags” system IS a joke at times, have a counter argument on someone and its hidden lol
The flag system has its issues but it’s not Smin’s or any CM’s or moderator’s fault. They do what they can to make this a better place and answer our questions
I really hope those rules loosen a bit for 5th gen, there’s incomplete prototypes with more available info than some service aircraft with how classified these can be.
And of course otherwise the game just ends in the same F-35s for 7/10 nations.
Though I’d only know one specifically that could change this, I think the chances aren’t bad that there might be something for Germany/Britain/France/Italy/Sweden/Israel (and/or their subtrees) as well.
Maybe but because perhaps unlike you, I know mods and CMs are just people doing their best at their job, with a community that can sometimes be insanely toxic, and they always remain polite and respectful even when being clearly disrespected
The rules should be losened a bit even for 4th and 4.5th gens, very interesting and awesome prototypes but most dont meet the requirements (cough Su47)
Personally I’m all for unfinished prototypes, as forum rules go, for the entire game. This way the requirement is still that there needs to be a level of dedicated development and at least partial prototyping, but we can allow some more niche vehicles that haven’t gotten a complete combat configuration in reality.
Something like the Yak-141 in game for example
No fictional armament, just because it wasn’t complete doesn’t mean Gaijin should make up things. Armament should be based on proper sources/prototypes.
Exactly. A plane or a tank can be built in a week once the design is finished; if not one prototype was made, then it simply didn’t exist… it’s just that simple.
A battleship on the other hand takes several years to construct once its design is complete; if a battleship had begun construction, it already existed, even if its construction was extraordinarily interrupted due to any potential third party factors.
We dont need entirely fictional armaments true, but proposed armaments should be enough for prototypes that had testflights atleast. Or if X thing was "supposedly getting 3 gazillion missiles obviously reduce it to an amount that could fit a good BR placement
