Engine got taken out after a bird strike, the fuel tanks ate the runway and kept the aircraft in good condition

I’m actually surprised by how uncommonly I’m killed by teammates as of recently. I expected to a lot more with the premium su30s but I don’t think they ever climb or look up.

Tbf that was standard for them to use the fuel tanks, I don’t think many images of them without their external fuel tanks in flight exist.
I have a few of them at training fields without them but they look weird to me
