Looking at their decisions on where to put the J11s, this isnt even unlikely anymore… but given the EX was literally 1:1 the upgrade path from the E would make even less sense than J11s decision if they were to put it under the GE
I have grinded all of the us now I think and I will not consider it not a waste of time if I’m given the ex. I swear to got though if its an aesa f15E i will be mad because it wouldnt be bad but come on just give me 360 radar maws.
i mean on top of being “just” an aesa f15e it would be slightly faster, tho yes heavier and have amber racks afaik no? would still be a considerable upgrade, especially after the 120Ds announced
Tbh the place they’re moving the J-11s isn’t too weird imo, China needed two fighter lines anyway. I woulda put the J-11s in 3rd line and moved the attackers to 4th line, but this doesn’t work too bad either imo
fbw should help maneuverability I think. plus if were lucky gaijin would implement the ir maws as well for the ex

My prediction for the US jet:
They add a F-16 Pobit and give both the F/A-18E and F-15 GE AIM-120Ds
I doubt the optimisations to fbw will be modeled
I doubt there’d be a taster today, just due to the double news we already had.
Tomorrow, maybe, but Thursday is still most likely.
