True, the basic 530s are terrible
Luckily the F1s have Super Mantra R530Fs. Not quite as good as the 530Ds (what’s that designation scheme, France?), but they are still fine.

Oh yeah u can also get the new Chinese namer or even those tiny wiesel sized BMDs, loads of missile + APS will be crazy.
Edit: nvm it is a bit larger, still smaller than BMD though. 6 ATGMs + a cannon and APS is ridiculous.

I love knowing that there are higher BR potential alternatives for ZBD-04A!
I just hope ZTZ99A, etc, get their still missing spall liners, and maybe even have DTC10 fixed (it’s way too short, as has been proven).
I really like Top Tier China; but, much like Israel and Japan, I would like it more if not for the issues that plague it.
yeah I just ignore it, I legitimately only play the top ranks like rank 7 minimum for 90% of matches so when I see the comments I go oh they must just not like the event, not because its something they truly dislike just simply that the event is there exact desire.
secondly I view these events more like a gateway
Some players want top tier and don’t wanna spend 100$ so these top tier things are actually quite nice and play a role outside of just directly adding new unique vechles but provide a way similar to sqaudron vehchles to help some users play the area they were sold the game on.

Weird how when one group (top tier) gets most of the big additions, while 5 other groups (early and late WW2, Korean War and early to mid Cold War) tend to just get table scraps, the one group gets more flak than the others
It doesn’t help that it’s seemingly always the same three planes when it comes to top tier additions (Hornets, Flankers and F-15s, aka low effort, aka slop)

Naturally there’s a limit of baseline models, with a higher amount of variants within a family of vehicles… but that goes for ALL eras.
What makes a 5th F-18 variant more boring than a 5th Spitfire variant?
Or a 5th Abrams variant more boring than a 5th Sherman variant?
Or a 5th Su-30 variant more boring than a 5th Hawk variant?
Why are variants only a problem for Top Tier?
At the end of the day, it’s just a matter of personal taste. Why should I be roasted for wanting an Abrams with new armor because “it’s just another Abrams”… by someone who’s asking for a “just another Stug, but with different wheels”?

I think the complaint should just simply be more events or more open events i.e. you can choose between grinding for a special low tier or high tier vehicles in the event or between different modes ground ort naval.
the complaint shouldn’t be damn we keep getting top tier events.(which most people grinding to top tier WANT) or get rid of high end events so we can get a majority low tier events.
just complain about not getting both its a digital issue and doesn’t take much effort as we know(mostly copypastes) so arguing for more of both or more options would be better imo.

There is way more variety at the lower BRs, it’s not just Spitfires and Shermans like you are implying
Top tier could have a lot more variety and less people would call it slop, if Gaijin added more actually new variants of the F-16s and MiG-29s and more indigenous planes, but they have been spamming Hornets, Flankers and F-15s instead
Even for modern day GRB there is more variety than for the planes, as it’s not just Abrams and Leos and T-90s all the time, there also are Challengers, Arietes, Leclercs, etc
Edit: for example, they have added 12 Hornets over the course of the last 5 updates and they are adding ANOTHER ONE in this update
