Block 50+/52+ was the later “Advanced Block 50/52” airframe that supported installation of CFTs and bigger payloads, over the original Block 50/52. And the dorsal spine often seen on F-16D Block 50+/52+. AFAIK only export planes were built to that standard.
New Block 70/72s are derived from the 50+/52+ design, but they are manufactured with an inherently longer, 12,000 hour structural life than older F-16s (even the 50+/52+) which have a life of 8,000 hrs.
Planes upgrading to the F-16V Block 70 equivalent have the option to include a number of structural modifications to extend service life by at least 2,000 hrs.
The US began carrying out those kind of modifications on their F-16 fleet before PoBIT, with a SLEP program.
But SLEP doesn’t address the structural, engine, and wiring differences that exist between Blocks 40 and 50 (things like HARM & HTS pod carriage), and aren’t modified for things like Block 50+ CFTs. So they remain separate Blocks within the US inventory, and distinct from true Block 70s.
As an indicator of how a factory Block 70 differs from previous F-16 blocks: Even Poland who already operate Block 52+ are asking for SLEP as part of their F-16V upgrade, to extend them beyond 8,000 hrs.

Doesn’t the dev stable usually get updated way later into the week? I would have to check but this MIGHT indicate a teaser before Thursday

Gaijin said that this patch is gonna be a little light on air vehicles, I hope there’s going to be new air technologies this patch cause top tier air rb is getting a little stale.

50+/52+ is a 2000s upgrade that brings CFTs and HMDs and APG-66V9. Just like the F-16I.
In game F-16 has its updates included except CFTs

If they want, yes. I don’t know the US upgrades have that option but international F-16V / Block 70 has the option.
And the Mirage 2000-5F you can see in the game also includes 2000-9 or 5-Mk.2 upgrades, solely delivered to foreign customers.

US F-16’s can’t use CFTs (except for a few test aircraft) because they don’t have the plumbing for it. Sure they could be refitted for them but that isn’t a part of PoBIT and likely wouldn’t be planned at all.
