Can we see the egregious differences channel losses change in the F-15C GE?
I understand for previous iterations of the F-15 (A/C, maybe even E) that it’s kept at a steady ~20% to maintain some sort of balance for their Battle Rating placement. However, keeping the latest (for now) F-15 artificially cruxed because… reasons, meanwhile the recently added MiG-25PD that shares similar intake design (fully aware they’re not that similar, but you’re telling me an intake designed to pull in as much air as possible loses… 1/5 of its thrust because…?) has no such egregious channel loss.
It just… doesn’t make sense. I checked every top tier jet’s in-game engine figures. Taking into account they’re all installed, with channel losses included… most of them are between 4-15% at most (with the Rafale being the lowest).
Current “Loss Gap” (Bench vs. In-Game):
- M88-2 (Rafale): ~4.2% Loss
- AL-41F1S (Su-30SM2): ~5.0% Loss
- EJ200 (Typhoon): ~5.5% Loss
- F-110-GE-129 (F-16C): ~14.2% Loss
- F100-PW-220 (F-15C): ~20.0% Loss
- F100-IHI-220E (F-15J M): ~23.8% Loss
Not arguing against the others… I just want to know why the latest C model F-15 is getting held back at a BR where it shouldn’t be. I’m not asking for a blanket buff on F-15s. If the intent is to keep them balanced, then keep the others balanced, not the F-15C GE which for the moment (assuming Delta AMRAAM coming in hot to its loadout?) struggles at its BR.
