Tbh both are valid.
Either we put it below the F-15C GE, it’s sorta in the continuation (from 8 to 12 to 16 or more missiles);
Or we put it below the F-15E, it’s a development of that plane and will share a very similar flight model. It will also be a CAS upgrade, and as such makes sense under the E.
I prefer the latter solution as it prevents the 5th line from dying after the F-15E (wouldn’t it look weird to have all F-15s in second line with the exception if a single one?).

@Smin1080p_WT There is concern among some members of the community that the planned AIM-120D baseline model will not provide anything meaningful over the current existing AIM-120C. Will developers consider the addition of the AIM-120D-3 instead of the baseline model?
We don’t even know yet which specific model they will select, its performance or how they will implement it…
Smin confirmed in another post that it is planned to be the base AIM-120D.
The missile has not yet even become available for testing yet.

If we count improvements, improving the actual C-5 would be a nice start instead of introducing new ordnance with “i suppose” stats
While that is true, the concern among some members appears to be based on primary sources.

Pretty sure the CLAWS was also the AIM-120C-5 instead of the C-7 before it officially released, so?
Then I guess we will have to wait for the Dev Server to see how it performs and potentially make additional suggestions.

Its natural for people to judge and speculate ahead of anything actually coming to the game. We will naturally be following feedback once the missile is introduced for testing.

Yes, and the C-7 ended up being copy paste of C-5 in datamine afaik.

Hello there! While you are here, allow me to ask something;
Many months ago already, regenerative steering was officially mentioned as a potential addition being worked on for the game, and it was stated that it would eventually be tested and surveyed among the community for potential implementation.
Since the suggestion was first passed back in 2017, this was great news; however, it’s been months without any news on the subject at all!
May I ask, is it still planed and hopefully soon, or was it discarded/left as a low priority matter?

Thought C-7 had more guidance time? not sure
At the moment, there is nothing to announce. As and when that test occurs, or if there is any news to share on it, it would be something we announce more globally via a news item or stream etc. Not here.
Hmmm, that’s a shame.
It’s been 9 years since the suggestion was finally passed to the developers; when we finally heard the devs even mention the possibility of implementation, a beam of hope lit up our souls… only for it to be left in the dust for months again :/
It was even more disheartening when BVVD mentioned, later, that they COULD have implemented it long ago, but actively chose not to “so that tanks could pull sharper/tighter turns”.
That makes me fear they may have backtracked and intend still not to implement it because of this.
