Did Britain put Sea Killer (Nettuno) missiles on any ship?
Those are available in-game on the Saetta P-494
Add F-22 at 1.0 but make it so you only get an hour of match time in it before it’s locked away forever (or until the F-22 is added for real)
Only for less than level 5 accounts too
I have no idea
Hmmm, as an event/premium/SQV Britain could get one of the Alvand-class ships operated by Iran, as they were built in Britain
France has the SS.11 on La Combattante in-game and those were used on Lybian operated Brave-class patrol boats
I dunno, it’s just hard to see proper missile destroyers to be added anytime soon as most of those missiles probably just end up making naval battles worse than they already are
Edit: I guess a Perth-class (basically a copy of the USS Douglas) would be an option as well?
I would love to see some conventional destroyers as well, such as San Giorgio for example, rare example of Italian destroyer, which should be good in the game (because of American cannons)
Although more than any addition for the fleet, I hope frigates get some rework as a class, like a separate spawn area at least and removal of the nonsense that secondary armament on destroyers can automatically shoot at boats, but boats (especially frigates) can’t do the same against destroyers.
Honestly, I hope it doesn’t get it, I know this sounds stupid but trust me. I would really like a later F-15I. They’ve been operated since 1998 iirc, and they started off with Aim-120Bs. I’d like them to be split, one with Aim-120B/C-5 and Spice 2000/LANTIRN, vs a later with Aim-120C-7/D, and Spice 1000/250. Two split F-15Is gives the tree more versatility and flexibility when it comes to CAS, as well as Air RB BR options.
If we don’t care for that, the F-15C Meshupar, Sufa, and Ra’am could all get Aim-120Ds but ehhh, I’d like some more options for the tree first when it comes to the eagles
Something like this would be nice:
- Add a F-15A Baz Meshupar (identical to C Meshupar, different engines), limit it to Python 4s and Aim-120Bs, and add Spice-2000s.
- Add the following to the F-15C Meshupar and move it up: Spice-1000, Python 5, Aim-9X Block-II (IAF got them for the Adir but should be compatible if I’m not mistaken), and Aim-120C-7/8 and/or Aim-120D.
- Add Python 4 to the F-15I we have now and leave it as is.
- Add a F-15I Ra’am “Late”, with funny satcom dome bc yes, Python 5, Aim-9X Block-II, Aim-120C-7/8 and or Aim-120D, LITENING III TGP, and Spice-1000/250.
Which is why County-Class is ideal.
Its basically a HMAS Tobruk with 2x twin 4.5" and SACLOS SAMs instead of the 40mms, where-as something like a Type-42 has just 1x 4.5" and is reliant mostly on ASMs for anti-ship warfare.
Yeah, Charles FAdams class is already in-game so that would be a lazy C&P option to get the ball rolling
these are the same missile
Ingame sure, but I’d like to have them finally differentiated from each other so there would be purpose to add them. The C-7s seeker should be much better than it is, it’s also a weapon the IAF used which is why I’d like to see it specifically.
I mean, a 91kg warhead (which probably translates to an even higher TNT equivalent) sounds pretty hefty, but I guess that’s still not in the guaranteed instant kill territory
On the one hand, I don’t see the harm in adding that as a more or less “first of its kind”
But on the other hand I could see that turning into an arms race with the US and the USSR players fighting for better missiles, quickly creating a huge mess lol
Personally, I feel like they definitely have to do something to make naval more attractive, but it’s hard to say if missile destroyers would be the thing that are gonna make naval mode better or much worse
I wonder if a new interesting Russian MBT may be coming…
I have all of the BMPT research bonuses ready!
See? This is why I appreciate leaks, hahah. If a new MBT is coming, I would stop playing BMPT as to save the bonuses. If not, I will continue just playing it.
It is larger than RIM-24A on the Charles F Adam or V-600P on Bravy, so there is that
Unless they limit it to just Seacat which is much smaller than either with a really limited range
as for a kill… flip a coin. Ive seen a Bravy one shot a Graf Spee beofre. Certainly would be good for countering enemy missile destroyers
That is the only reason why I am concerned about the Sea Slug lol, if the missiles were smaller I don’t think there would be any reason NOT to add a County class ship
Yeah… but I just cant think of any RN options, unless they do just go with Type-42 with the single 4.5" gun and its basically just there fore Sea Dart and little else
Would make the US mains mad though if it was the first thing added with Phalanx :D
I just hope its something with mobility. I really cant stand the idea of another T-72…
@SPANISH_AVENGER
The possibility of seeing the final powercreep of ground this year with T-14, 2A8, SEP3, etc is strong.
Yeah, as for actual RN ships, there seem to be no options. There are those Lybian and Iranian operated ships that I mentioned, but none of them would be TT material
I mean, the Bernau is a thing with just 3x 25mm turrets and the Strelas, so I dunno which one would be worse to have lol
Definitely, and I would be all for it lmao
I can accept a T-90M with improved armor AND reverse speed!
Although a BVM could be sweet. Hell, or even T-14 xD
Yeeees! With 5th gen fighters coming, present day MBTs are a given too…
See, that’s why I must know; I’ve got 50,000 RP worth of research bonuses on BMPT… I need to know whether to save them for March, or pass (I would not wait till June)!
It is also a 3.3 coastal boat, where those guns might actually do something, at least against some targets.
A single 4.5" gun, even with its high RoF would leave it terribly undergunned for fighting other destroyers, let alone anything larger. Would be a real shame to limit Britain to a SAM only destroyer when there are mutliple SACLOS destroyers already ingame and have been for years
Sometimes that just is how it is
In a PvP game you gotta keep an eye on the balance and when the only possible additions would threaten the balance, the devs always should think twice
(Not saying that Gaijin does that thinking business, just that this kind of situation cannot be avoided, unless artificial nerfs are an option)
