Well the almost non-existence of any trainers imply that they will be introduced with era accurate weaponry.
It will be like how Mirage F1 pack vehicle is grinding downtiers, people will just adapt playing against them by getting deleted in groups of 2 while any uptier is a 0 kill early leave for the user.
I think Gaijin will model the next generation such that it will require engine power reduction and a flare cloud instead of just 6-8 flare spam and AFB shutoff.
That’s exactly why next gen IR missiles shouldn’t be available at such a relatively low BR
Most planes at 12.x don’t have boatloads of flares (or CMs in general), heck, even a lot of 13.x planes don’t have the luxury of 100+ CMs
Having to actually reduce engine power and throw most of your CMs away just to counter one missile leaves you as a sitting duck…

We really need something that can reliable intercept Munitions at closer ranges or just overall SP reduction for all Jets with missiles only (except Russia because screw them since they are the main problem).
I guess the drop tank is technical’y jettisonnable, since it might be needed to do so during emergency landing. It’d probably not in the normal procedure at all however.
For example, the US and French Naval fighters (including F18s and the Super étendard) had to jettison some of their armements prior to carrier landings. The super étendard would have to jettison its Exocet under certain weight limits before carrier landing.
Things were fixed for France with the rafale being able to land with all its armements (but it’s also why it only carriers the heavy loadouts under the belly, as under the wings would give it asymmetric lift).
Yeah but you only have 6 slots and you’re mainly peaking the turret from behind cover
If you want to intercept missiles, your best bet currently is the M163 VADS
AFAIK Malaysia uses Rapiers and Starstreaks/LMLs and Thailand uses VL MICAs and Starstreaks lol

I’m Dansk, sorta similar in some words but more so console can’t change language outside of the select few available
Steam doesn’t offer a Danish translation, maybe there is a mod tho

well seems like japan will still suffer against most incoming munitions since they dont have a reliable Low SP solutions for it.
