Also any chance the F-18C will go down in BR given it’s lacking compared to every other hornet?
Might as well just not take it, nothings preventing you from doing that.
It’s useless in game anyways, even in sim you might as well just use ur radar.
Flankers irst is actually quite useful because you can sneak attack with r27ets, us don’t got an equivalent
If Aussie Hornet gets AIM-120D and the IRST-21 pod the USN F/A-18E better as well.

(so can I have my f15 GE legion pod now please.)
In all seriousness this means the f15c GE is also getting its IRST right… right. Please don’t tell me its been forgotten I beg.
@Smin1080p_WT are you able to confirm if the F15c GE is getting legion now sorry to be a bother but I am curios.
unless F/A-18F is the New top tier plane they said the US will get
it wasn’t forgotten, it was ignored
Nothing to announce at this moment regarding that.
the Japanese did this too ^^
nah they said they would add it later do to coding issues I have hope. if they fixed it for the f18 its probs ready
Honestly wouldn’t mind that. So long as it’s foldered under the E like the F/A-18D should be with the C and F-16D under the F-16C. (If we would ever actually get those for the US).
I will Manifest R-27EA next week
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy why godamnit why my poor f15c GE
We already said other aircraft were under consideration to receive AIM-120D too. No longer just the new aircraft.
I’m pleased to hear that many US aircraft will receive the AIM-120D. Will China’s J-11B and J-10A receive the PL-12A?
isnt there a way to guide ARH missiles irl with IRST
they also said they’ll later add that the P-61’s turret can turn into Offensive armarment in fixed position
its been a Decade, nothing happened
yes smin please add aim 120D to the typhoon te he
New planes are Never foldered
Doubt it, they fill a similar role to the base F-16C and F-15C MSIP II so I think they will all stick with the base variants of their ARH missiles
