Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

ASCOD, I believe

TAM is based on the Marder

no ASCOD is thinner.

theres a picture of the regular TAM so im guessing its an elbit-modified TAM maybe?

Sabrah

Not to be confused with Sabra

No, it’s definitely an ASCOD

There is add-on armor on the front on the one you posted, otherwise the front looks identical

How about:

  • Hungary stays as the subtree for Italy (Gaijin basically confirmed they have no plans of moving Hungary into a Visegrád tree). Italy and Hungary combined have more than enough vehicles for a good tech tree, there’s no need to shoehorn more subtrees into the existing Hungarian one.
  • Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Oman can remain premium/event fillers unless they find a better place to implement their vehicles.
  • Romania can be moved to a Yugoslavian tech tree, along with Bulgaria. This can either become a Balkans tech tree, or if Gaijin refuses to add alliance trees, then it can be a Yugoslavia tech tree with Romanian and Bulgarian (and possibly more) subtrees.

Israel could get that Sabrah, as they are the export nation, but the ASCOD itself is an Austrian/Spanish joint project

It’s a bit of a far cry tho tbh

The supply chain basically goes:

  • Spain builds ASCOD IIs
  • Spain supplies ASCOD IIs to Elbit
  • Elbit modifies ASCOD IIs and installs the 105mm turret, creating the Sabrah
  • Elbit ships the Sabrah to the Phillipines

Good news for you, you won’t need that “5 year anniversary special”, because the Ho-Ni II is coming next update, confirmed by the second devblog.

  • non-premium (researchable afaik)
  • Japanese
  • ground vehicle
  • pre-1946 era (WWII)

That picture makes it way easier to tell what it is lol

I wonder if the thing to the right is the Pandur II with the Sabrah turret

However, it’s still unknown whether I will make the 5th flight of the last aircraft add-on from before 1946 myself. (I am very happy that after at least 4 years, 11 months, and 15 days, something for Japan was finally added. Maybe I’ll start writing suggestions again.)
