No. Our F15E is weird. According to PW themselves, the first 229 engine got delivered in 1989 and it officially entered service in 1991. This means USAF Mudhens were using the 229 before Israel even signed the deal for theirs. I’m also pretty sure the F15E got AESA radars before it got HMD, but I would have to double check that

Perhaps for you personally which is ok. Not every event can satisfy everyone. There will always be future events to look forward too :)
But a lot of people requested a Dutch F-16 in some form (since the Belgian ones are already well represented) and this also offers the first opportunity for an event F-16. Something which newer players, or those that dont yet have top tier, can use to obtain a F-16 variant for the first time.
It also doesn’t remove anything from the French / BeNeLux tree in the future and helps provide a platform to start the tree.
