Ok so I just checked the figures online and it seems like a very forgettable difference…
PW-229 gives 129.7kN
GE-129 gives 131 kN
That’s nothing compared to the differences of, say, PW-220 and PW-229
Not necessarily as it could require the air intakes to be modified (that’s why the F-16A/B isn’t listed which has a smaller air intake than the F-16C/D and later). It depends on the air mass flow the engine needs.
The dry-thrust difference is bigger (76,3 kN for the GE-129 vs 79 kN for the PW-229).

Of course, I was just pointing out that you can fit any, even though it’s not necessarily optimal. The F-15s have large enough intakes for any engines, but it doesn’t mean they all should get the best engines. The F-15E already has the later engine (229) instead of the earlier one (220) but that’s as far as we can stretch

Dude, MICA is already the best missile in game by far. Until other nations can get similarly capable HOBS missles (aka IIR like 9x, ASRAAM, IRIS-T etc) nothing should be done to it. Afterwards yeah, fix it’s range to make it competitive in BVR

The Rafale has had on or above avarage report fixes in terms of numbers relative to other top tier jets.

Its not earlier version actually.
Initially Gaijin wanted to give 220’s engines to Us F-15E while ignoring that F-15I had already 229’s.
In order to balance this situation they decided to change engines on US model and made it later variant and tbh I don’t think there ıs any major differences between initial 15E with 220 engines and later version of with 229’s.
