iirc they gave the AESA typhoons a Mech scanrate and no actual AESA Advantages
still chance in a million
Its current scan rate is correct when in the 15x180/200 mode as it simulates the repositioner.
But for the other 3 modes. Should be about triple what it currently is.
It has the AESA advantages that they actually model
No dovbleg today?
Havent we been a good community? 🥲
Normally, there are a few days between the CM post and the first devblog.
Speaking of MKI
Where is the MKI at Gajin
Your guess ?
Could do the NF-16D VISTA MATV.

It flew with some dummy sidewinders on a few occasions so an argument could be made that it still retains it’s weapons capabilities. It was modified from a Block 30 so if it did keep it’s weapon capabilities, which it did seem to do, it would have AMRAAM and 9M.
Good enough.
I also now remember the fa18 Harv which is basically the same thing
Well the moving nozzle of the F-35B technically counts as thrust vectoring (but yeah I get what you mean)
Which are? What exactly isn’t modelled
Thursday or Friday is the most likely day based on historical trends.
Multiple scan beams as an example
If they’re lazy they could just make AESAs scan faster
In game it’s not modeled.
that’s… exactly what I said?
Nvm, I didn’t go back far enough in the conversation.
Also, forgot the fact that some AESA (most recent ones) can do active jamming while scanning/tracking, while I have not seen any PESA with similar claims
we got the scan rate at the maximum scanning area which is limited by the Mechanical movement of the swash plate the CAPTOR-E is on
this is taken as a Primary source and the only one there is
CAPTOR-M does that too
but not in Warthunder, there this doesn’t exist
What about non-gimballed AESAs?
dependes on the radar
the Kfir has a rather quick scanrate, idk about the others
