Why would you be happy with 120D’s? (not D-3, thats not in the files) They change absolutely nothing relevant over the 120C-5.
They’re better because they have a bigger number on the statcard and big numbers is good
unfortunately even with the 120d it wont be competitive at top tier, unless somehow the d is completely busted

the reason i dont like the f15c is bc the one thing the f15 is good at (bvr) its not very good at, you accelerate slower than almost everything at your br
F22 can still supercruise at speeds of above mach 1.5 without using afterburner. Its engines alone produce about double the dry thrust and about 60% more wet thrust than eurofighter’s engines.
Why would I rely on HMD when I know that a launch in such a situation is gonna be a waste of a missile?
As soon as I get another good launch window I don’t really need the HMD anymore

Well something is better than nothing at this point. The best we can do for the US is get Gaijin to give the F-15C GE 120Ds and give them overwhelming feedback that making the F-16 14.7 would be delusional.
They aren’t going to pull a F-15EX out of their ahh, so at this point it’s better to focus on things we can affect instead of focusing on things we can’t change.

Well first of all I said somewhat happy, and second of all, I guess it’s because I would have a platform to perform well with those missiles, if the 120D comes out and it’s only available on the worst american airframes (new F16 + F/A-18) I will not even be slightly happy.

The F-16 will be 14.0 at most, it will not be 14.7. Giving 120D to 15C GE would change absolutely nothing, 120D is a nothingburger missile.
It absolutely isn’t going to be 14.0, I can assure you of that.

Do you not know that the 120D (not D-3) is pretty much the same exact missile as the 120C-5? It changes absolutely nothing for War Thunder.
The outside pylons are MRML. That’s why we know they exist
How about you wait until the dev server?
They also didn’t correctly model the C-5, so who is to say they aren’t gonna give the 120D features that the C-5 is missing?
