Will the introduction of rank IX mean that the only “top” vehicles in the current state in the USA air tree are going to be the F/A-18E and the F-15C GE? “Top” regarding research bonus.
The game would be so much better off if Gaijin just used the same cut as the forum suggestions. That way it’s an unfinished prototype and can be added. We already have vehicles like that, so it’d be consistent.
Also there’s really no middle ground like that anywhere else. Other games either go strictly historical, service vehicles only, or dive way too deep into vehicles with so many blanks to fill they might as well be fictional, or alter incomplete vehicles as they see fit because “not built, don’t care”.
A game where some niche, incomplete vehicles are represented accurately just doesn’t exist yet, especially not on War Thunders scale where even less popular nations get their chance.
