In short, cockpit was extended backwards likely to optimise supersonic drag, new DSI intakes, new flexible cover, some had new engines. U could prob work out why they are called ‘black’. Also J-20S didn’t receive all the said changes but some are black.
I haven’t seen any new J-20 (normal ones) for a while, reasonable to say J-20 production has finished.

honestly I wish double seat variants would just be the event vehcles along side obviously neat or rare vehicles as well. cause I want two seaters but I also don’t need more things to grind through

Nah not gonna. Don’t think they even left space for it, and they didn’t really want it to take place in dog fights, looking at the lack of commitment to TVC and the design overall.
That is a good idea but maybe gaijin has some plans in future that would make twin seater useful

most will disagree but god are canards ugly on a jet that angular in shape like the eft, gripen and rafale all have nice smooth curves the make it work but the j20 looks like my first drawing of a future jet and I only got given a protractor and pencil

if they gave second pilot voicelines or they increased map awareness I would take the downgrade especially with all the wtlive sound mods that would be made.

I already don’t really like how the Flankers look, but the Su-30/33s canards somehow make it even worse

I did notice a difference in color among the J-20 pictures I could find but I thought they might just be rendering inconsistencies so I wanted to be sure. Good to know then.
