Yeah, Tan-SAM kai just can’t perform nearly as well as something like the IRIS-T SLM. Not to mention all the missing features and inaccuracies the Tan-SAM kai has. The biggest deal breaker to me is the lack of IOG+DL, effectively LOAL, on the IR missile, which it is supposed to have.

But, all that says is that it can get targets from other planes, pre launch data. That has been a thing for years. Global link is a system used to connect things like planes to planes or other radars, it does not conenct missiles to it.
No mention in the brochure
Don’t set up your expectations too high
None of the sources in this report are sufficient to prove anything sadly. Hence why it was rejected.

Well, i guess.
But spyder does have enough problems, i would much rather spyder begin realised without any bugs in this major update, and not in the state in was released in the last update.
